Having finally replaced a weeping header tank on the early X [2001] the very next day she boiled - loose clamp thinks I, probably a bit surprised by the now correct pressure. Sadly no, the radiator was pouring it out, as best as can be seen from the bottom. So thanks to this forum more than the manual we start work................... Nearly all undertray screws rusted solid, radiator support looks like it's been at the bottom of the sea, all 8 bolts rusted solid, 5 wrung off. Finally had to remove the bumper, rust, rust and more rust. So thinking about this it occurs to me that as you cannot easily see under there, and it's a lovely warm, humid environment for Mr Rust - it might be a plan to remove your tray, clean things up and maybe apply some rust prevention as Jaguar seems to have forgotten!
Radiator, by the way, had bowed at the bottom, dropping 4 or 5 cores - it seems, on this car anyway, to have no centre support at all - or am I missing a rubber block or similar?
