when I first got my X-Type it didn't have the cartridge for the CD changer, I didn't care much because I found that out to be replaceable and insignificant at the time.

however I just called a local dealership and they told me they really didn't know what the model number of the X-Type's cartridge was because there are easily 3-4 of them.

so I figured I would ask on the forums, does anybody have a picture reference of the cartridge they use in their X-Type or at least some kind of product or model number? thanks.

 

You may want to include your car's model year to the thread. My guess is that Alpine changers of that vintage with like CD numbers in the cartridge will use the same ones. Then it becomes a $5 ebay purchase.
