Default Center console arm rest question

I love how it slides forward, but is there anyway to lock it into position? I know it does that to a certain extent, but I wasn't sure if there's something that fully locks it in the back position???

Thanks.

Thanks. My dog has her front paws on it when we ride around and when she shifts her weight it slams forward. No biggie.

Same thing happens when my dog rides in my Jag. I throw an old bath towel over my consol to keep her from scratching up the cover. Also - put an old blanket over your rear seat. My fuzzy friend (all 50 pounds of her) managed to slit the leather on the back seat cushion with her rear paws. Cost me $125 to have it repaired.
