Anyone have the down and dirty on how to remove it. I need to run some wires under the console to the radio from the trunk.
If you have good directions for the rear seat removal that would be great too.
My car is an 02 Xtype

First off unsnap the shifter trim. Remove all the silver torx bits. The carpeted side panels have a phillips hidden in it, once removed the panel snaps outward. Then there is two silver torxs on each side that go in the console. Then remove the rubber insert in the center console and remove the three torxs in there. Pull your console and have fun. The bottom of the backset just unsnaps by pulling upwards.

I saw in another post that you installed a double din in your car. Got any pics? I'm in the process now of doing it and wouldn't mind seeing how yours turned out. Any lessons learned or advise?
