ck engine light told it was 02's

It has been like a year or so that I was told I need 02's. I think they said there were 4 of them. Can they tell if it's just one or 2? the guy at the store was pretty useless....

There are four of them. Two upstream and two downstream. They are both different, so you would need two of each if you are replacing all of them.
