turn on is something that you do with your clothes off... lol.. I really dont like using "turn on" for cars.
there are so many levels of "ON" for a car.
Try to think in terms of key position (you did a good job of that) but for the engine, it can be stalled, stopped, cranking, runnning, idleling, etc... The engine is never "on" or "off".
Just makes internet communication so much easier.
Girls get a little more leniency from me on this but guys have to get it right.
