Question Cold Start Problem

Ive seen several cold start problems on here but haven't really saw one like mine and am looking for my help. I have an 04 X-Type 3.0 and on the first day this happened it was realllly cold and the check engine did come on but did go off after driving awhile.

Here is my problem. I will go to start it and when it starts up has the high normal cold start idle. It then wants to drop down to the normal idle speed but when it drops down it wants to die on me unless I give it some gas. I would say it does it anytime it under 30 degrees. Anyone know what it could be or what I shod try first? Your help it greatly appreciated.

I would check for vacuum leaks in the 3 most common areas which are posted all over these pages.
