Communication Fault Please Consult Your Dealer
Hi guys im in need of a quck solution for this one, last night i popped out in the car and living in Glasgow i need the heaters directed at the windscreen as its freezing over here all the time and if the heating aint on and aimed at the windows it steams up, well last night i came out the shop and it suddenly stopped working, the communication fault please consult your dealer message came up, i had no climate control, heating, windscreen and rearscreen heaters everything else works perfect?
iv tried disconnecting the battery for 15mins, the bat is only a few months old and iv never had this problem before, im hoping its a quick fix as i need my car for running about as i have a very very busy weekend ahead of me and hope this wont be expensive to fix
Thanks Alan

I had this same problem 2 days ago. It was cold out (about 20 deg) and the car was running rough at idle. I think my intake gaskets are up to be changed. My heat was on, but i lost radio, nav, heat.. basically any controls from the main screen. It just gave me that communications fault. I believe it also gave me a warning that said climate control not available with key in off position or something to that extent. I shut the car off, and restarted and it was all back to normal since? Im happy it works again but I would love to know if this is a potential problem. Thanks
