JBond....i could be wrong but...our jaguars (x-type) have the water pump driven off the cam coming off the radiator/battery side head. So im not sure if it would work. Again, i could be wrong but i believe when i used the Lincoln LS engine i had to reuse that side gasket and valve cover. The LS engine has the waterpump elsewhere, so maybe rule out the LS. You may be right about the others!!!!!

This indicates they're the same for both engines:

They're $7 each, so why are you worried about prices????

Jaguar cam cover seals are NOT compatible with any Ford Lincoln, Mazda variations because the heads Jaguar used are unique to its Duratec variation with VVT. So, you're right going to a Jaguar dealer or an aftermarket that sells Jaguar pns.

Steve11...despite the accessories to being unique model years, they are basically the same engine in some of them. For instance, i used a 2004 Lincoln LS engine for my Jag. They share the same VVT. Thats basically what he was saying. The most similar is the Lincoln LS. Only difference is some external locations of accessories.
