Racer, with the aid of someone (or if the car is near an object), get in the driver's seat and step on the brake pedal. Do you see the brake lights come on? Are they nice and bright? If the brake lights do not come on, then you have either a bad battery or a ground/positive wire issue coming off of the battery. If the lights are dim, you have a wiring problem with main wires coming off of the battery.

If the stop lights are nice and bright, next turn the ignition switch to the "RUN/II position" but do not start the car. Next, turn on the A/C system fan and place it on the fastest setting. Does it blow a lot of air? If no power inside the cab of the car, then you have an electrical problem. Let me know that and I will give you some checks to help narrow the problem down. If you get a weak fan, then you have a bad power or ground wire between the battery and the cab of the car. Having a bad wire here will cause the computers to not get enough power to run, which will cause the computers to not send the correct signals to start the car.

If you need more help, let me know. This should be pretty easy to narrow down once we get some basic info.
