Hello everyone!

I changed this hose 6 months ago. Now it's spraying coolant all over the car again, in considerable amounts right where the T clamps to the other hose. Its Also dripping At the reservoir clamp. Tightening has not helped:




Is this happening because it's an aftermarket hose?

Always coolanr leaks with this car! Driving me nuts

 

Just a hunch, but maybe new hose clamps would help. Is there any oil in coolent or coolent in oil? Maybe head gasket or ? pressurizes coolant system?

I tried new clamps and that has not helped.,

Not too sure how a faulty head gasket would cause the hose to spray coolant at the joint though.


Thoughts?

Try changing the clamps, and a full coolant change. You may also have a faulty coolant reservoir cap, that is not releasing pressure, or a T fitting with a small crack....Be cool......Mike
