Default Coventry whitley rims

CAN ANYONE HELP.....Can I fit Coventry Whitley 18x8.5 rim on my 2004 x type without any mods???

BTW...nice mods on your car...I just order the the whitley rims...I was afraid the 8.5 would rub...my oem rims crack on three different occasions...lol...I love the look of the Whitley rim...

Thanks. I thought about getting a set of their wheels when I was looking at getting my first set of wheels. Post some pics when you get them on.

As justink said they will fit, what it comes down to is the rubber you plan on fitting them with...

Make sure you post a pic, as new rims are on my shortlist of upgrades, and these are on my list of possibles.

I will post up some pics as soon as I receive them...thanks for all the info guys, Bracester, what rubber would you recommend?...the rim and tire place told me '225/40/18s' tires....I would like to get feedback from everyone...keep in my, i from NYC, very bad roads...lol

Well I ran 235s and wish I would have ran something smaller so 225s as Justink mentioned would be ideal...I am running 215s on my 20x8.5s and find I rub just ever so slightly when hitting a super hard bump (just the other day dangit), but the 225s should work perfectly
