Default Crazy rear steering on exit ramps...

2003 x-type 2.5. When I take an exit ramp with any speed the rear suddenly feels very loose and acts like it wants to go to the outside of the curve. I remember seeing multiple posts on this but can't locate them using search....any help would be appreciated?

Seems like it would be a control arm issue. Manually prying on them they seem fine but I'd be glad to replace them if they are the typical culprit.

Wes, your lower/forward (the small arm) on each side of the rear suspension need to be swapped out. The bushings have some extra play in them and it is allowing the rear suspension to move a little resulting in the feeling that you are experiencing. The arms are about $100 each and are easy to install (remove 2 bolts, remove the arm, reverse for install). Don't forget to get an alignment afterwards. You will want to get this fixed fairly soon, otherwise you can anticipate some accelerated wear on the inside edge of the rear tires.

Any questions, let me know.
