Default Cruise Not Available :: Another Culprit

Driving the other day, I was welcomed with the Cruise Not Available message. Read up on here what could be the cause but beings my X is newer with less millage than those reporting vacuum leaks and sensor issues, I hesitated to follow their remedies. By COMPLETE coincidence my 3 year old son dropped my phone under the driver's seat and when I bent down to look for it, found something dangling next to the brake pedal. What do you know, it's one of the cruise control sensors that attach to the brake pedal.

I have no idea how it came loose, but it did. I snapped it back into place and bingo, all is good.

Thought I'd post this in case anyone runs into the same issue.

Cheers.
