Hi Harry,

You are correct to check F99 (10A) fuse as that is the 12 volt supply source to those door lights.
The lights are activated (ground switched) by the GEM via pin 1 of plug CA86 (orange/ green stripe wire).

Two quick tests for you....does your trunk light work? That is also powered up through the same F99 fuse.

Second test is probably to pull the bulb out, and see with a multi-meter if you have 12 volts getting to either pin of its light socket.
If not, then locate the Orange/Green striped wire going into the door harness (plugs CA16 pin 4 LH door, or CA21 pin 4 RH door) and see if you detect 12 volts there. If not, then you are tracing Orange/Green striped wire upstream towards the fuse box going back to CA76 pin 14 to F99 feed.

If you do have 12 volts at the bulb socket and the bulb is not working, then with a good bulb fitted in the socket to complete the circuit, you are then tracing Orange/Yellow striped wire going into the door harness (plugs CA16 pin 3 LH door, or CA21 pin 3 RH door) to see if you are detecting 12 volts appearing at those plugs. You are looking for zero volts, so I f12 volts is there then continue downstream to GEM plug CA86 pin 1 (Yellow Green stripe also) to see if you have 12 volts there. If GEM is switching correctly then you should have zero volts there as it is a ground completing circuit.
If you have 12 volts appearing at CA86-1, then either a bad plug/pin connection right there or the GEM is not switching the puddles on.
