Default Dead battery now engine light

I just had my battery replaced sense it was dead and the engine light came on literally minutes after replacing the battery. Any possible correlation there? i noticed a lose plug behind the battery box and tried to plug it back it to the box that holds the battery. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Jerry, the plug that you see is only there for the shipping of the vehicle to the US. It is a useless plug now. So, that has nothing to do with what you are seeing now.

As for the engine light, take it to a local auto parts place and have them read the code(s). That will tell us a lot more about what is potentially wrong with your car. Odds are, it is something silly like they bumped the PCV valve and now it is leaking. But, I am just guessing at the moment. All we really need is the PXXXX where XXXX is a 4 digit number. We can look up the meaning of the code from there.

Mine came on too after the battery died but was gone in a day or so.
