Hi

I have a 2006 LHD x-type estate 2.2D with tweeter in the doorhandle at the front seats, but only speakers at the rear seats.

I just want to make a quick check to see if the speaker is working without taking of the doorcard.

Is there anyone in here who knows which colors the speaker wires have in the plug/connector going from the door to the b-frame. Then I will with a 9V battery to see if there will be some scratching sounds.

Welcome to the forum, it sounds like you have a modified system to me.
can you not check the speakers by adjusting the balance and fade through the steroe controls?
