Demister female clip

hello
On my x type my demister front vent on the left side rattles ,
if I am correct there should be a fixed insert in the dash to which
the plug fits in, can anybody help?

There's no insert in the dash - just a plain hole! If the original plug is tired and not clipping in securely, new ones are surprisingly cheap (in UK!) through your Jaguar Dealer.

Hi Ncar.
There is an easy and permanent fix on u-tube using rare earth magnets. Both my vents were rattling annoyingly before I used this fix.
