Has anyone/everyone else had problems with keeping those plastic caps in their roof rack mounting holes? I've lost two in the past few months, and have caught them about to pop out several other times. They seem to be especially vulnerable at high speeds.

Luckily, the dealer keeps replacing them for me under warranty...but I'm getting kind of tired of replacing them.

I'm thinking that the only real solution is to glue them in. I'm not planning on ever adding a roof rack. Any recommendations on glue? I do want to be able to pry them out if I ever need to...

Any comments/suggestions are welcome. Is this just a design flaw with the car?

Interesting question. There's a little notch on the back of the clip. On one side of the car (the driver side in North America) the notch faces the rear of the car. On the passenger side, the notch faces the front of the car. I've always thought this was odd, but the dealer said that was the way it was supposed to be.

The ones that have popped out have been on the driver side. Maybe the clips have been backwards?

Again according to the dealer, they only go in one way. I haven't really played around with it myself. But now I'm curious.
