Hi Guys

Do X Types suffer from any kind of problem with the drivers door not opening first time from the outside?

I open the doors with the fob, I pull the drivers door handle to open but it is as if it is still locked.ie will not open so I pull the handle for a 2nd/3rd time ( without touching the fob ) and it opens.

Any idea's? or just a quirk these older guys have ( 2002 )

Before disassembling the door, first spray silicone lubricant into the door latch mechanism. If you're lucky, that make be all it takes.

Spray the other 3 door latches and the 2 hood latches while you're at it. An ounce of prevention to spare yourself a pound of cure.
