hi i have a 2003 jaguar x-type 2.5 and i was installing some lights and there was a spark which led to all the interior lights going out so i replaced the fuse and they work now, but also the front drivers seat dose not more or heat.

the passenger seat is manual and the heat works fine.
im in Edmonton ab so its left hand drive.
and there is no memory setting.

what could be the cause of this? a fuse but which one? or motor? thanks

 

03Jagxt, check fuse F66 in the fuse box in the dash. I bet you will find that one blown. That powers the whole seat.

Thanks Thermo, its fixed and it was the f66 fuse little green one, and ill try to answer others questions from my experiences with mods to my x-type so far.

iv had my x-type for about 3 years never winter driven its a 2003 2.5 v6 got it when i was 16 has 65000km on it and is in mint condition i wax and polish it every month lol. iv always used this forum and im glad im now apart of it.

so far iv installed the mina top and bottom mesh grill
installed a single 12inch jbl with sony 1200 watt amp to back seat
clear side markers then one coat of night shades
l.e.d light inside and out
8000k hid kit
got the windows tinted limo black 35 up front.

whats left.
magnaflow or mina exhaust
fog light hid kit
jaguar full lip kit
rear spoiler
18 or 19inch chrome wheels.
