Default DSC issue

2002 Jaguar x type 3.0
So what is happening I cannot find anyone else with the problem. What is happening is the DSC failure appears on the dash, along with yellow (Amber) light. The gear box fault does not appear, nor does it put the car in limp mode. It will only appear after going 67 - 70 MPH or a hard, over 5000 rpm, acceleration. I would like to know if anyone has any ideas here. Also has no MIL on or ABS failure

Tgilstrap, if you are getting the DSC failure, but no ABS light, then that can only be but the DSC module. Granted, do an idiot check and when you go to start the car, turn the key to RUN and see if the ABS light lights for a few seconds. If it doesn't, then you may have an ABS issue too which is leading to the DSC issue.

What you are describing to me sounds a lot like a rear reluctance ring starting to go and it is messing things up for you. But, that would cause an ABS light to also come on along with a C1165 or C1175 code that could be read via the OBD port.
