Have an issue with DSC Fault and a tranny issue.
I have a 2003 S-Type and I have no faults when starting the car, but when I start to drive it and use the break pedal for a few seconds the DSC fault triggers and doesn't go away. Happens every time I drive it. Figured I would ask to see if maybe someone else had the issue and could tell me where to start looking. Also the tranny shifts fine is all gears accept between 3-4th where I hear a little rub noise between shifting. Any help would be appreciated.

Might be best to get the codes for the ABS read.
Could be a wheel bearing that's the underlying cause, but anything in the ABS set up is suspect and codes may point to the most likely.

I too recently had DSC code. It was related to a bad ABS speed sensor.
Replacement of the hub assembly (hub, bearing & speed sensor) @ approx $200 plus labor was the cure. Not saying this is your problem, but it's a definite possibility, and not that expensive to fix, esp if you can buy the part from RockAuto and then do the labor yourself. I was not able to do either at the time.
Yea, I had a tranny leak from the plastic pan warping and after I got that fixed is when it kind of started. Maybe they put in the wrong fluid or something. Had a bunch of issues with gearbox faults and being stuck in 4th gear because of the fluid level when I started having issues. I will definitely check out the ABS sensors, I have a code reader, but its not the professional one so I'm not sure if I will get the errors I'm looking for. But I will update as I know more to possibly help others in the future when I figure it out. Thanks for the responses.
Be sure and check the tranny for leaks again. The plastic pan does not warp but the sleeve will leak transmission fluid and it drips off the pan. I also thought the pan had warped but the oil was from the sleeve.
Has the sleeve been changed?
