Default Dual Din HeadUnit

I have a single din head unit installed and its upsetting me because I miss the dual din feel. However, I noticed that when I installed my single din head unit there is no way to install a dual din because of something blocking the space back there....

Anyone know what this is or if it can be moved so I can use a dual din or am I stuck with single?

I have also read about this somewhere on the forum before. I think there is a pioneer dual din NAV setup that fits (no sure of the model). I think I also read in one thread that the obstruction is just a heat sink and a member did some triming with a dremel. The newer dual din deck unit you purchase, the smaller it should be.

Have a look here

sat/nav double din install pics

It would seem to depend on what is being fitted as a standard depth unit will not fit
