e-brake cable install tricks
2004 X-type 3.0 liter. Installing new Pads, Rotors and Calipers on rear wheels. Having trouble getting p brake cable back on new caliper. is there any way to loosen park brake to allow me to connect the cable?

Gondolaboy, the trick that I always used was to make sure that the e-brake was released and then make sure you have about 2mm of space between the pad and the rotor. You can then use a pair of pliers to grab on to the end of the cable and with your other hand, pull the e-brake lever towards the front of the car. This should give you more than enough cable room to slide the cable into place.
