Flyrr, checked the diagrams. There is just a single black wire going from the instrument cluster to the e-brake switch. The switch then grounds right there at the switch. So, unless you have somehow pinched the black wire in the dash or center console somewhere, you next most likely fault is the switch. Lastly would be the instrument cluster itself.
You can try unplugging the black wire and seeing if the e-brake light goes out. If it does, then that confirms the e-brake switch is toast. After that, you would have to lift the wire out of the plug on the back of the instrument cluster. There are no other plugs between the switch and the cluster.
