Encountered a royal PITA trying to replace my driving lights with LEDS
I bought W5W bulbs to replace the stock halogens because one of my halogens is out and the rest of my light system is running at 5300K-6000K, so I wanted to match it in the driving lights. I CANNOT for the life of me get the darn light to pull out!!!! I've heard that all you do it pull straight and it should pop out, but I am having no such luck. I tried for 30 minutes trying to get it out and couldn't do it.... Any tricks with this? I was thinking of using some needle nose pliers to get it out, but that's where I get even more sketched out about breaking my headlights... Any thoughts?
Hi they do 'pull' out, and yes they are a real pain but do come out. There are no lugs/clips to press. The part you have to be carefull with is putting them back in, to much force and your headlamp levelling screws are toast. As i found out :|

disguay, like Jagryan said, they will pull out. You may want to remove the headlight from the car though too. When I replaced my driving light bulbs, I had to put one hand on the lens back and then use my other hand to give the bulb a twist back and forth as I pulled the bulb out.
