hey there, welcome to the site
This section is for new members and you're unlikely to get the best response here. I've moved it to the X type section for you so hopefully you can get the answer you need from our x typers
Good luck

Did you replace the correct one as there are 4 altogether (2 on each bank (1 upstream and 1 downsream of the cat))
If you did then you may have a short circuit???

thanks for that apparently the code related to the back bank on the engine and both have been done the new code we got was for heater circuit and could not find any thing wrong the local tuning center wanted to reprogram ecu but said that it would not let him in to do anything

I took heated circuit as meaning lambda sensor circuit (ie heated oxygen sensor circuit (Ho2 sensors)) faults ?

NRCgasman, tell us the codes (P....) that you are getting. That will help keep all of us on the same page. Do you have a diesel (2.0/2.1L V6) or do you have the gas motor (2.5L V6)? That can change what the problem is. On the gas motor, 99% of the time it is an O2 sensor and by telling us the code, we can make sure you go after the correct one. If it is a diesel engine, then you are looking at a glowplug issue. Again, the code(s) will tell us a lot more than you simply describing what is going on.

Its a petrol as the diesel is a 4 cylinder not a V6!
Pretty sure diesels dont have lambda sensors either

A bank is engine bank against the firewall, B bank is by the radiator...and its not impossible to have a bad new part

i will check whether the mechanic got the right bank because I'm sure it was b bank and he did the ones at the back near bulk head i have not got the codes it came up with i will get them from him but he is away at mo got everyone scratching there heads
idea !!!!! is it possible to remove a new fitted sensor and change it to new position that way we could check them all without buying expensive parts each time
