Engine not responded to thegas pedal
Hi there my X-Type friends:
Now that I had put the engine together; It started and run, but it's idle was high in the 15K rpm, when I stepped on the gas pedal, the engine only rev.. up to 20K rpm. I put in the gear because high rpm idle, the car would jerk hard, it would run slowly, but no acceleration.
the scan showed 14 codes:
P-0102: MAF or VAF-A circuit low input
0112- IAT sensor circuit low input
0182 fuel temperature sensor A circuit low input
0193- fuel rail pressure low input
1108- Manufacturer control fuel air metering
1229- same message as 1108
2096- Post catalyst fuel trim B and 1 too lean
0182- repeat.
1093- repeat
0202- injector circuit opened
1000-
1229- repest
1532- Manufacture Vehicle speed idle speed control.: Where to locate this unit?
Also a round Red symbol look like a ring gear appeared on tachometer.
I appreciated any body pointed out all this codes and where to located them. THERMO! Help!

Thanguar, the red gear symbol is saying that there is a problem with the tranny. Now, what that could be, hard to say.
As for where the idle is controlled from, that is internal to the ECU. It looks at a few different parameters and then determines based on coolant temp, intake air temp, and a few other things, where it should put the idle. So, to have a high idle, that would be telling me that because you have code P0112, that could be causing the idle to be high. With this being said, it is sounding like you have some wires that are crossed somewhere. It would almost appear as if the cable running to the MAF sensor and say one for the fuel rail have gotten swapped, leading to a lot of erroneous indications. Just to ask a silly question, is this the same motor that came out of the car originally? If not, same year? There were slight differences over years and if you get say a 2006 motor and drop it into a 2002 car, you may find some oddities.
The other possibility is that a cable has gotten pinched and the wiring has become damaged, leading to signals not being transferred properly. That is where an inspection of the wiring around the coolant tank would be needed as that is the most likely spot for this to happen based on the codes that you have.

Thanks Thermo, I don't know the year of the new engine; I went to the junkyard it was laid on the ground, look like some one took it out to get the transmission, and it look better than my engine, I didn't look the year of the car, I bought it and took it home to replaced my blew engine. When I removed my engine out, I saw it blew a hole about 1.1/2in. in the back. Any way the new engine look like lower mileage or latter than 2004. As you said then I have to remove the intake manifold to check all the wires. Thanks
Hey my X-Type friends! Good News: Now my car is run with engine was revved responded to the gas pedal; Thanks to Onielle, he had the same problem as mine, and he told me his mechanic found a wiring missing link. So with his hint, I found the orange wire at the plug under right side of the throttle body was loosed, after replace the plug now the engine responses to the gas pedal, and the red gear symbol was gone too.. But it still other issue to be correct before I can really enjoy ride her on the road, it will be soon. Wish me luck.
