hey iwant to know if ican keep the stock exhaust tips on my jaguar but make it have a much deeper growl. ihave a 2002 jaguar x type 3.0

You could go aftermarket but have the tips cut off and welded on the new exhaust.

jagrod, yes, you can do what you want. I would start with going with a straight pipe in place of the resonator. that may give you what you are after. From there, it will be a lot of trial and error to get the note that you are after. If you know something about how tube diameter and length affect sound, you can then use that info to help get the note you are after. But, most of this comes into play with the end of the exhaust, not the middle. So, to make things easiest, you may be needing to get rid of the tips. Just saying.
