Default external heated mirors

Hello, i've a 2005 estate 2.0D and my external right and left miror doesnt heat. What can i do?
I'm surprised that the two of them doesnt work. Is there a connection that can be out of order which can create a dual fault? Ive allready fix a left F fault myself but this time i need you help to find the location of the trouble. Thanks a lot

Hi, Have you checked fuse 9 in the passenger fuse box.

Ludovic, try checking fuse F15 in the passenger compartment fuse box. If that is good and your rear window defroster works, then you have a wiring problem between fuse F15 and the mirrors. There is not that much to this circuit left if your rear defroster is working that only takes out the mirror defrosters.

The only other check that I would say to make is using a multimeter and checking for voltage on top of Fuse F15 (if you look closely, you will see 2 very small metal tabs on the top of the fuse, you can use a multimeter to check for voltage on both of these tabs to make sure you have 12VDC on them when you have the defroster on). If you need more info, let me know.

Sorry Thermo, I looked at the wrong part of the diagram.
I concur with your diagnosis with reference to fuse 15.
