I am getting these two codes that point to a bad injector but the car starts and runs fine until I reach 3,000 RPM and the it runs badly and just chugs along. Does that also point to a bad injector?

You're getting the problem at 3,000 rpm because you're car is going into "limp mode".

I knew about the limp mode but had never encountered it before now.

 

Could be / likely to be a circuit fault rather than the injector.

 

I have 2.5 X Type 2003 USA model with same issue. Under 3000rpm drives fine, the second I go over 3000 it stutters, sputters, and shakes all over. Issue resolved by changing all 6 plugs and coils. Now it drives smooth as silk under hard acceleration and cruises nicely well over 3000rpm.

 

how many miles on it ?

 

138,000 miles
It has new plugs and coils.
I am thinking it is a bad electrical connect to injector #1.
