Default Filling x type with fluid..can't find port to check level

Anyone have a pic or a good description of the port to check fluid level. I know it is supposed to be an allen a couple inches above the level of the drain but I can't find it anywhere.

Are you talking transfer case, diff, or transmission?

Regards

Wow..it's amazing that this topic keeps coming up..

FYI according to Jaguar..The transmission, Transfer case and Differential are suppose to be filled for life..

We all know that is BS..

I suggest that you do a search on any of these components and you will find volumes of information on DIY type maintenance.

oops...it is the transmission I am filling.

I have done the search and found many descriptions...yet am I under the car and can't find it. I am sure it is staring me in the face but for the life of me I don't see anything that comes close.

Great pic...that is what I expected to find. What I found instead is a vertical bolt near the shift cable. Picture was in this link:
