Default Finally Swapped Out the Wheel...Things I learned...

I finally did the swap this afternoon. It truly was not difficult albeit I was terrified that the airbag would go off on me somehow so I waited at least 20 minutes after the battery disconnect and even then I was a little scared...

Things I learned.
  • T30 for the Sides to Remove the Airbag, It will need to be at least 1" in length to gain access to screw, had to go to Harbor Freight to get something longer
  • T50 to Remove Steering Wheel
  • Eyeglass Size Flat Head to Remove Difficult Airbag Clips on the backside of the Airbag

Other than that it went very smooth and the looks is roughly 20,001% better!

Old One, ewwww.

After airbag removal

Reinstallation of New Wheel before airbag

Picture of weird clips for airbag. On the clips move the yellow release inward and then there are 3 clips that you have to release to get the cover for the wires off (yes its just a cover).
