what flex plate??
not sure if you are talking about the driveshaft flex bushings that are used rather than universal joints?? (im not even sure if the jag uses u joints or a flex bushing??)
if it uses flex bushings im actually working with a company to make ones with a metal frame and poly bushings inside of it, lots of people go with this as a aftermarket performance option for more torque....but its also a lot cheaper than the dealers option of sometimes only selling a driveshaft assembly with the bushing...(thank you GM...)

You can only look at the torque converter bolts. There are 4 of them. There is an inspection cover under the car at the front of the trans. The flex plate bolts cannot be seen unless you drop the engine and separate it from the trans. Sorry.
