Hello all

My car was produced 3/04. Can anyone tell me what front fog bulbs it takes, please? It seems both are listed

Thanks a lot

I made a list for myself earlier, based on the owner's handbook:

Main beam (inner): H1 (55W)
Dip beam (outer): H1 (55W)
Fog light: H1 (55W)

Front parking light: W5W
Side indicator: W5W
Number plate light: W5W

Front indicator: PY21W
Rear indicator: PY21W

Brake light: P21/5W
Rear light: P21/5W

Reversing light: P21W
Rear fog light: P21W

Thanks .

I know the early cars took h1's and I know the 2005-up took h11, but it looks like 2004 was a transitional year??

Anyone have a 04 that can verify ??

What is your VIN, or specifically the last 6 characters?

JEPC states the following:
Fog lamp bulb H1 55W to VIN E17540
Fog lamb bulb H11 55W from VIN E17541

SPike, keep in mind that in March of 2004, Jaguar made a significant update to the car and it changed some of the electrical aspects of the car. So, it sounds like you got one of the cars just before this changeover.

Chris,

I know my car got the new type of transfer case and the new steering wheel, so it looks like its a transitional model with some upgrades and without others.

Does your car also have the facelift trunk lid plinth? That is, the one with the button hidden underneath it rather than a green one between G and U?

Okay, I've always thought that the steering wheel and the plinth are the easiest ways to tell the early models apart from later models. Of course, both are interchangeable with the early ones, but doing so is fairly rare.
