Hey guys........I'm sure that most of you out there all have some pieces of really useful info relating to the X.
Please post whatever you have under your own separate thread and I will add to the FAQ section. Its about time that we really get this section upgraded for everyones use.
Anyhting that each individual has will be greatly appreciated and will enhance the forums usefulness for all.
Please add a footnote that you consider the thread should be a FAQ so that myself or any of the other moderators can add to that section.

Thanks on behalf of all in advance

Well............I'm surprised.
I thought that were quite a few of you guys out there quite knowledgable about cars in general and the Jaguar X type in particular.
Either you are and just dont wanna share or there's not as much useful knowledge as i thought...........Either way, the forum loses!
Thats why as no one has bothered I unpinned it and decided to see how long before it slipped into the back of beyond.
Please........if you have nothing useful to post ( worthy of being a FAQ that will help others)on this topic then just let it slide.

Thanks

Jim

I think you already made the other thread that mentioned these into an FAQ, but for the record:

You can get all the electrical guides, and various fitting instructions, specs, troubleshooting guides, etc, on my web site at http://jaguar.bttlxe.com/xtype.

New content goes up all the time. Also if anyone wants advice on retrofitting the premium sound or factory bluetooth phone, or getting video onto the satnav screen, just drop me a pm and I'll try and help.

A/C Fix- Problem was that the A/C system would work blow as cold as could be and than air would be warm. All of a sudden the air stopped working all together. I checked the R-134a refridgerant with a kit and all was good for that so I proceeded to check engine compartment fuse box. I checked all mini fuses and all were good. I than checked the micro fuses/relays and found that the R6 relay was blown by using the same amperage relay from the R3 position which is for the horn. Look at the pics below for fuses related to the A/C system.
