Frame Rust Protectant Product
There have been a few mentions of this product (an internal frame coating) in the forum here as being a pretty effective treatment for our X-Type's poor record of rust resistance, and the very nasty and expensive repairs needed to set it right.
I just opened an email from the supplier Eastwood.com and they have a sale on it ending Sunday night (10 June 2012) at midnight, $15.99 a can/applicator set, with free shipping.
The biggest complaint in the 59 customer reviews of the product was the price. They've knocked it back from $26.98 + Shipping, to $15.99 + Free Shipping.
I just bought 5 cans to do my 2002 X-Type for under $80 USD, and felt compelled to share this great price with you folks! (I have no financial interest in Eastwood.com, nor am I an "Affiliate") For about the price of a tank of gas, it seems like a no-brainer.
