Default freeezing cold

Hi there. I own a lovely midnight blue x-type 2.2 diesel sport on a 55 (2006) plate.
in the last week, i've had the clutch and flywheel replaced, and the battery as at 8 years old it fianlly refused to hold a charge.

the problem is now the climate control will olny fire refrigerated air.... even when set at 27 degrees...i'm presuming it's more to do with the battery change,,, but it switches on fine, and i can switch it off etc the fans fire up, but when i select air con, it just blows cold.... any suggestions, that dont involve another £££'s garage visit?

Alan, one of the first things that I would tell you to do is to dial the temp dial as low as it will go and wait a few seconds, then raise it to the maximum temp that you can get, then dial it all the way back down. This will cause the A/C computer to re-calibrate itself and that will hopefully fix your temp issue. If it doesn't, then let us know and we will take things from there.
