Hi,guys my front struts are shot and need to replace, i want to put some used struts from a 2004 x type Mr.dome is parting out, but Im not sure if they fit my 2002,ok the case is that I check on the jaguar EPC v3 and it give me a lot of strut part numbers and I'm not sure now if they fit or not, can u help me guys?

 

I was looking into this awhile ago and to the best of my knowledge, the struts for all of these cars are the same. Granted, the struts for the fwd diesels are a different animal, but when I was researching they just labeled them as either fitting 02-03 or 04+. I then discovered that most parts are actually like this because the database thinks that when they did the facelift and new transfer case that they also changed everything else about the car, but they didn't.... So the short answer is very, very probable

My research says that all years will work, but there are 2 different "models" of struts. One has "Standard" stamped on it and the other has "Sport" stamped on it. Other than that, a X-Type strut is a X-Type strut...

 

Quartz X-Type my 2000 x type its the base model the 2004 xtype of dr.dome its base too, maybe they fit.

 

They will fit. Go for the swap.
