Hey Everyone, I got in my car this morning and started it. the dash showed a gearbox fault, system fault. it woud run and go into gear but the gas pedal would not work. has anyone had this problem before and do you know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Did the dash show just a gearbox fault, or did it also show another system fault (dtc?) Also, when you say the gas pedal would not work, do you mean it was completely unresponsive, or the engine was limited to 3000rpm when accelerating?

What will be of great help is if you could get an OBDII scanner on there and read your codes.
