I was driving my 2002 X-type 3.0L (51K miles) to church Sunday Afternoon. Sport mode. Loud bang or wham. Gearbox warning, cruise warning indicator on dash came on. Car went into limp mode. Pulled into driveway at house about 1 mile down the road. Flat bed moved it to import specialist on Wed (no Jag dealer close). A few days later (he is busy-has a good business) a technician checked codes (no codes, no history in computer). Drove it OK. Not sure what went wrong, or if it will happen again. Import specialist still has it. What should I suggest that he look for? Is this a recurring problem? Thanks, Pastor Duane
