I have read multiple threads on multiple forums about Global Opening/Closing. Some say it is available to program while others say it isn't an option. Does anyone have a, idea if it is available on the U.S. Models or not? If it is, would anyone have the instructions on how to do it? It is a 2005 X-Type 3.0 Thanks!

 

I can't do it with my key fob, but I can globally close with my key in the door lock.
On my 04 XJ8 and 12 XF I can globally open with the key fob, but not the X-Type.

 

Hmm...I can't even get the close to work with the key. I will try to dig up a manual some place. Thanks !

It shows Global Open is enabled....now just to find out how to program it lol. Sheesh.

 

Module configuration can be accomplished using PDU, WDS, IDS, AutoLogic etc.
