Default Got a Jag, help me out plz.

I just bought a 2003 X-Type Jag 2.5L a few months ago. It was at 45,000 miles for $13,000. Anyway, I did a lot of research on it and the original owners the only ones were two old people and on carfax record went to jag to change oil and all that stuff on regular basis. Now I think this was a good deal, but I don’t know you tell me.

Basically I do want to know if 2003 X-Type’s are reliable cars, I take good care of all of my cars, but how does this car hold up? I want to have this car for a long time, and so far its fantastic. Cruises nicely. Got a reckless driving for going 110MPH ahahaahaha.

Anyway, what kind of maintenance do you guys do to your cars?

This is what I do….
Oil Change
K&N Air Filter
K&N Oil Filter

Is there more to it? That I could do to keep this car in shape?

Also is there a K&N Air Intake for my jag?

Thank you in advance fellaz.

I have a 2003 X-type, no issues. Sit back, enjoy. The big issue is the relative lack of mods for the car without going custom. Enjoy the car. Aftermarket intakes are not going to net you much for the cost. Enjoy the stock intake. IT is well designed.
