Default Green fluid?

I just drove into my driveway and went over a rather large part of snow and I noticed a trail of green fluid. What would this be generally?

It might be oil from your air condition compressor.

Should I be worried to drive this for a few days before getting it checked out?

Mista, I would check out your overflow bottle and make sure that you still have fluid in it. That would be the big thing that I would be worried about. From the sounds of things, you have a good leak and if it is only the A/C compressor, then you can continue to run the car at the risk of hurting just the A/C compressor (should be fine as long as you are not using your A/C or the defrost modes of your car, general heat is fine). If you are running low on engine coolant, you can drive the car, but you are risking the motor. I can not advocate driving the car from what I am envisioning.

Thermo you rock as always. When I bring it in to my mechanic, what should have him check so I can save him on time?

What colour additive do you put in your screen washer bottle? Mine's very green!

Mista, the best advise that I can tell you is to tell him where the green fluid is coming out in relation to the car (ie, about 6" in from the passenger tires, center of the car, etc). With this knowledge, that will narrow down where he has to look. Granted, you can figure out a lot of this yourself as you should hopefully be able to see under the car right now and look straight up from there.

In short, if the green streak is on the driver's side of the car, that is most surely antifreeze. If it is on the passenger side, if it is inline with the tires, washer bottle fluid most likely. If just in from the tires and it is very little, most likely A/C oil. Just in from the tires and lots of it, antifreeze.

Mista, just check your radiator overflow bottle and look what color it is. If it's orange or red,( what it is suppose to be) then it is probably your AC oil.
