seeing that the housings are easy to taker apart you could probably do it very cheap..ebay sells LED halo rings i think i remember them being like $50 or less.
just tie the led ring into the small bulb in the high beam housing.

Swap some customized Z projectors in there.. That could be interesting.

Halos on the X-Type is gonna look so out of place and tacky. Not only does it not belong, but how many circles does the front end need? No need to highlight them all with halo headlights too.

i do believe the tail light size is 194...dont quote me, i've been doing alot of work with the front lights -- eventually i put in 194 led's for the running lights, they dont fill the entire light cavity but atleast they arent yellow. Then for the low beams and high beams i used h1st silverstars by sylvania...seemed to work okay. I would still like to go brighter but for now im happy with how the set up is.

Disco, if you check your owners manual you probably need PY21W's for the tails. If so, don't use the 1157s as the offset of the pins is different. I think there was a thread a while back about someone who got their X with 1157s jammed in there and they had burned out socket problems.

Did you ever get the photoshopped pic back from dude? Or get it installed yet?
Last summer, at this custom auto shop, the owner showed me a live demo on my Jag of what it would look like if the fog lamps & projector headlights would look like if they had LED halos around them, they proved me wrong, they actually look nice. I really want to get them this upcoming summer.
BTW, have the LED strip on the chrome strips of the bumper makes it look like christmas lights, so I passed on that.

Default Halo - Angel Eyes

I am in the process of adding Angel Eyes to my X-Type. I know many people say they wont look good but I actually have 1 done now, and really like the look. I am doing a complete upgrade to my x-type - new paint, grill, headlights, HIDs, bumper trim , etc. The other headlight assemble was broke in shipping, so as soon as the new one gets in, and I get it all put back together - (this next week) ill get pictures taken and uploaded for you all.

Just remember a kitten will die each time those lights are turned on.

Please. Think about the kittens.

Not feeling the "angel eye" BMW look on a Jaguar myself but each to their own

Have to agree. Angel lights cheapen the look of a Jag.
