Have to agree. Angel lights/led mods cheapen the look of a Jag. I don't think angel lights look particularly good on anything. Maybe a BMW at a push. I think Led's are a no no all round. Audi's look very girly with 'em. If you're going to get LED's, might as well get some black rubber eyelashes on the lights, as well and paint it pink and get a big rear spoiler and gold Jaguar decals and flames emblazoned down the side. Wahooooh! Now THAT would look really fast. Sorry about that. I just feel strongly abut it.

YES!! I just installed a new set of Halo's in my 89 Vanden Plas and they are bad ***!!! It just looks so good. If you got the time to install them, you will be so much happier with it. I will get pics and post them.

Angel eyes are cool if done right and wired right. Careful though, you don't want a "homemade" look. I was just reading a thread on the forums where a guy added angel eyes to another kind of jaguar, a '02 sporty looking one. Anyways, it turned out really nice.

However, I saw an atrocious newer BMW the other day. Dude had those ridiculous sticky tape blue LED running lights stuck to his headlights AND some cheap *** rectangle after market fog lights and they were all on during midday. It made what would've been a nice car look like a total piece of crap.

I personally think angel eyes would look good on the x-type because of the round headlights, as long as they were stock looking. I thought about maybe doing it to mine but I don't want to go through all the trouble again of taking out my headlights and opening them up. What I was thinking might look cool however, would be those led bar drl's in the lower grill. It probably would look aftermarket, but I think that would be a good place for them and I found a module that is super easy to wire them up as DRL. I don't know, it's just an idea I'm tossing around. I personally love LED's and DRL's. They look cool and you are more visible to other drivers. I don't want to go for a Walmart upgrade look though, they would have to be something decent but they don't have to be too fancy as long as they're bright... I'm just thinking. It's not at the top of my priority list but it may be a project to tackle down the line.

Please do not do this. Leave them for a BMW. I like my M5, but everytime I see a Honda, Dodge, or some other car with Angel Eyes.....I laugh.

I bought a set and brought them to work to turn them on. I think they would look okay in the fogs only. This one is not exactly like the one pictured above in the X Type, mine are a bit larger outer diameter and not as wide a lighted area.

The white x type is a customer build I did. The torn signals were re wired to be able to run a switchback led signal bulb. I think halos look great on these cars...

Thanks for the pics, you have a boldly customized Jag, looks very cool. I dig how your halos change color. My opinion is still halos in the fogs only for my car. Do I just splice the halo wires into the parking lights? Any advice there X-TypeMentality?

Yes exactly just wire them into the parking light/DRL.
