Default Has anyone used crutchfield's in-dash receiver kit?

This one:

I'm thinking of installing a single din receiver and was wondering how this fits...also, has anyone installed this steering wheel control adapter:

Everything is supposed to fit the car, I'm just wondering how difficult it would be to install myself...

You can look in the Audio forum here and find a better match. That unit is black and you will have to repaint it to match the dash which is more a charcoal colour.

There are a few companies that make them in the right color.

They make it in gray and yes... I have it in my car as well as the steering wheel control adapter.

The gray color matches perfectly on my car, the steering wheel controls work about 95% of the time (sometimes I have to press the button 2 or 3 times to skip to the next track). Just dont get a Kenwood double DIN unit like me or you will be stuck with it sticking out half an inch because the unit is too deep (cue "that's what she said jokes").

Did you install the steering adapter yourself?
