Default Headlight adjusters

Hello everyone I hope you are all well?

looking for some advice, I have 2003 x type and was adjusting the headlight aim ready for mot. As I was turning the adjuster the headlamp seemed to drop down completely!

Does mean I’ll have to replace the whole headlights or is it just the adjuster needs replacing?

any help appreciated

The subject is a 'beaten-dead-horse' and there is much discussion in past forum threads.
Many people drill holes and install 'wood-screw' type fasteners to hold the inner assy in place.

You might do a forum search for broken headlamp adjuster in the S-Type and X-Type sections.

Does the kit that is shown work for both headlights or just one?

Ok, thanks! My headlights are just bouncing all over in there and I didn’t want to pull everything apart to find out I needed to order the “other side”.

Thanks again
