Question Headlight aiming

I have a 07 X Type (US) with standard lights ( not automatic). I noticed the outside passenger side light is shining too low. It doesn't appear to be broken. I have searched the forum for aiming the light with some success. There are 2 adjustment points on each side, one above the outside light and one above the inside light. I read one post that says I need to make the adjustment from the one above the inside light. Is this correct?

same problem, mine is to wide, I hawe shadow in the midle @..///..@

ok, I just did mine .... first screw on the left is for UP - DOWN

right white plastic screw in the holle is for LEFT - RIGHT

A-ha I discover america

Mine was actuaaly broken. Dealer replaced it under warranty.

Default Stupid question about headlights

It's me again the kind lady that helps out friends. Thanks for all your guys support, this had been a very expensive adventure. Had we known about all the problems things would have been different. Any Hoo, I will have to replace passenger headlight assembly. Salvage yards want to know if it has washers and what kind of light (HID?????) How will I know. Thanks again

washers, tehre should be a cap looking thingy on your bumper, it pops up and sprays water. The HID can be found by oping you door and reading the labels, if it says HID you should have HID and the washers. if not then it just halogen.
